Service Description
Weekly Moving Beyond Trauma Online Class begins February 11th. This weekly Wednesday gathering is not your typical yoga class. A safe space focused on integrating the impact of trauma in the body, this class uses restorative yoga and movement, breathing techniques, guided meditations and mindfulness practices to foster somatic awareness and release stress, pain and emotional dysregulation. Learn new practices for calming the nervous system, like mudras (hand gestures), tracing meridian lines, tapping, and other energetic supports. We all experience trauma in life experiences, and the size or scope is immaterial. The unresolved imprint in our nervous system causes symptoms of mental health conditions: anxiety, depression, anger and fear. These lead to fatigue and behaviors that keep us from fully engaging and enjoying life and reaching our full potential.
