Vinyasa Yoga for Post-Traumatic Stress
This practice, focused on breath-synchronized movement, will get your body moving while also stretching. Taking dynamic yoga a step deeper by integrating rhythmic breathing and conscious movement, you will move from posture to posture linked by the flow of breath.
Power Yoga for Post-Traumatic Stress - Session 2
Ready to take it to the next level? This session is designed for students ready to engage their bodies and hearts in a more challenging manner. Level II takes students with a solid understanding of the foundational yoga poses, and offers more difficult poses. Here, you can take part in a fun and engaging practice that will incorporate arm balances, more advanced backbends, and inversions.
Adaptive Yoga for Post-Traumatic Stress
Designed to make yoga accessible to those challenged by physical limitations, including paraplegic practitioners and those who are using prosthetics, the techniques in this video are adaptations of a traditional practice. Yoga is presented not just as a series of poses, but as an expression of inner energetic quality.
Restorative Yoga for Post-Traumatic Stress
This video is designed as a half-hour restorative practice, providing restful poses that reintegrate the body and the breath. Standard household props may be used to support the practitioner throughout the class. Focused on deep relaxation and opening the body by altering the flow of blood and lymph fluids in the body, the restorative practice will promote both good health and a supportive environment for total relaxation.
Meditation Yoga for Post-Traumatic Stress
This ten-minute guided visualization offers students an introduction to the practice of meditation, presenting breathing exercises and visualization techniques that will allow the practitioner the ability to create a safe space for themselves and an opportunity to align the heart, mind and body.
