Swede lost in NYC. Formerly a CEO and owner of a 10-employee sales consultant business in Stockholm, Mi found her way in to a new career as a yoga teacher and jewelry designer. Yin, kundalini and yoga therapy are a few of the close to 350 hours of teacher trainings she has completed. She currently volunteers with Kula for Karma at the Weill Cornell program in Midtown, teaching body awareness and yoga every Wednesday. This class is the best heart opener she can ever participate in. She also teaches private classes in her own mini studio on the Upper West Side, together with her two cats, and at the studio Yoga Spa in Midtown East.
Her classes focus on pranayama, releasing and relaxing. Some classes might end up with students dancing to release blockages in the body or just breathing and relaxing in a long yin pose. You never know the challenge before it hits you. Mi is very happy being in NYC where there are endless professional teacher trainings and like-minded yogis.
