Ling Acott leads mindfulness practices and kinesiologically informed movement through her platform Spice Yoga. She is privileged to be working with a range of people weekly. She trains and mentors yoga teachers, coaches corporate posture and meditation workshops, and guides her clients to progress towards wellness through yoga and the GYROTONIC® method. She volunteers weekly at Mount Sinai hospital, guiding patients in acute rehabilitation through meditation and breathwork sessions.
A former triathlete, Ling learned directly the ability of the body to push beyond known limits and the risks of movement without awareness. Ling is most passionate about the art and science of tailoring movement to the individual. She regularly offers her signature Slow Deep Flow style of yoga - encompassing synchronicity of breath and movement, the energetic approaches of kundalini, and restorative poses.
An earth advocate, Ling is a Climate Reality Leader who’s trained with Al Gore. She enjoys retreats inwards in meditation, forest bathing and rock climbing in nature. She has taught classes for women at the Barrier Free Living Shelter, veterans at the Jericho Project, youths at Covenant House, and bedside meditation at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital for Kula for Karma.
