Kim Pressman, a CPA and a graduate of Indiana University, received her MBA at New York University Stern School of Business. After college, Kim worked for KPMG Peat Marwick and spent the majority of her career at Price Communications Corporation, a publicly held telecommunications company, as Executive Vice President and CFO.
After the sale of Price Communications to Verizon Communications and subsequent liquidation, Kim decided to dedicate her time to giving back to the community. She began to volunteer for Kula for Karma, assisting in management, development, and in the finance area. She recently became a certified yoga instructor at Shree Yoga, and in addition to her other responsibilities, is hoping to teach at a Kula program site in the near future. Kim was appointed Board Chair for Kula for Karma in 2014 and she and her husband Bill partnered with Kula for Karma to develop a program at Bellevue Hospital for At-Risk Youth.
