Hilda Montanè teaches for Kula at Covenant House, New York. She is currently working towards completing her 1000-hour yoga therapist certification at Pure Yoga in New York under the direction of Dana Slamp and Jon Witt.
Hilda is a lifelong teacher as well as health and wellness enthusiast.
Her teaching experience spans over 20 years- in both the private and public school settings.
She began to incorporate yoga into her workout routines as a young person, but her passion for yoga began in 2005. She has participated in over 10,000 hours of yoga in her personal practice.
In 2013 she completed her first 200 hour teacher training with the direction of Yogi Charu and Kay Kay Clivio. She has since completed Prema therapeutics essentials, children’s yoga training, and Yoga Nidra with Mona Anand. She has taught yoga to ages 3 to 83!
Hilda's classes are inspired by good alignment with an emphasis on self practice. Her yoga theory is "listen to your body first and then your teacher if he/she is speaking to YOUR body." Her motto is “Safety, Strength and Stamina will allow you to be a lifelong yoga practitioner.”
FUN FACT: Hilda has practiced in 5 countries without knowing the local languages and she highly recommends experiencing worldwide practices. 🙏🏽🙏🙏🏿
