MyBergen Women's Good Living EvenT
Kula for Karma was in attendance at the recent Women's Good Living Event, sponsored by MyBergen.com and held at the Bergen Community College Saturday on June 4, 2011. There was a 5k run and a 3k walk, and our Kula Queen Penni Feiner (below center) came in third place!
Runners, walkers, families and friends enjoyed a great day that also featured nearly 40 exhibitors offering interactive experiences ranging from early morning yoga (courtesy of Kula for Karma), massages for the ladies, and pottery making for the kids, as well as comedy and music performances, and a fashion show. Several of the area's leading restaurants were on hand with a mix of free food samples and special festival pricing for other dishes. A healthy-living hula hoop demonstration rounded out a full schedule of entertainment.
Some fellow non-profits and friends of Kula also represented were: Shelter Our Sisters, City Green, American Diabetes Association, Gilda's Clu, and Habitat for Humanity.
