TEEN KULA IDOL
On March 18th, 2011 at Indian Hills High School in Oakland,
New Jersey 700 teenagers and adults from all over the tri-state
region will gather to see who the next TeenKula
Idol singing sensation will be. Prior to
the event, teenagers will submit an on-line audition via
Facebook. Twenty contestants will be chosen to audition
live on March 3, 2011. Ten finalists will be chosen to
compete for the Grand Prize on March 18th.
With the support of New York’s Z100 radio personalities, Skeery Jones and TJ the DJ, TeenKula Idol will be an exciting night of competition and entertainment. The bands, Steel Train and Meadowland, are scheduled to perform throughout the show, in addition to an hip hop dance troupe.

Congratulations! to Emma Munro from Allendale. Runner ups are Vanessa Khoury from Lodi and Keith Bender from Franklin Lakes.
The winner was chosen by the audience and a panel of judges from the music and entertainment industry including representatives from Atlantic Records, JT Taylor the Lead Singer/Songwriter of hits such as Celebration, Ladies Night, Too Hot, Joanna, and producer/ dancer/choreographer Jimmy Locust.
