YOGA-THON TO BENEFIT CHILDREN & TEENS WITH CANCER

THANK YOU to each and every one of you beauties for your support of the Yoga-thon to Benefit Children & Teens with Cancer (with proceeds donated to Kula for Karma and Ronald McDonald Camp) Saturday, June 12th at Pier A Park in Hoboken! The rain held out and the view was SPECTACULAR - whether looking over the mighty Hudson to NYC or whether looking towards all the amazing yogis mindfully practicing with their shiny souls glowing! We were honored that the mayor of Hoboken, Dawn Zimmer, stopped by to say hello and check out the event!

We had about 45 practitioners and approximately 65 attendees throughout the day and the feedback was all good ...mainly that we need to promote it MORE next year! The money is still coming in - so I don't want to give a grand total yet, but the event would not have been possible without your elbow grease, support, time, gifts and money. We will definitely be able to buy the campers there own yoga mats this year that they can take home to continue their practice. A big thank you to Local Barre, Club H and Devotion Yoga for your support and your talented and gifted teachers. There were many Hoboken businesses including the new Toni & Guy salon, State Farm Hoboken and Edible Arrangements Hoboken that also showed their support.

Please share any comments and thoughts about the event with me so that we can improve the experience next year and enrich the lives of MORE children struggling with cancer. Together we can brighten a child's day! See you next year down by the water!
