Deborah is a Licensed Psychologist with a private practice in NJ since 1996. She became certified as a LifeForce Yoga practitioner, Level 1 in 2009, returning to complete her Level 2 certification in 2011. Deborah was then certified in 2013 as a Kripalu Yoga Teacher. She is a LifeForce Yoga Mentor, and Director of the Lifeforce Yoga Mentoring Program. She is also on the Faculty of the LifeForce Yoga Training Programs at Kripalu.
In addition, Deborah is a Certified Yoga Therapist. Deborah’s practice incorporates Eastern philosophy with the challenges of Western living to create a forum for her clients to develop an integrative plan to address a wide variety of mood related imbalances.
In addition to integrating Psychotherapy with LifeForce Yoga in individual sessions, Deborah leads groups, and teaches yoga classes and workshops in her community and beyond. Deborah is a volunteer for Yoga Connections, a Greater MetroWest Federation program, teaching yoga in Israel every year to Israelis who are under the ongoing stress of war. She recently brought LifeForce Yoga classes for Trauma to members of the Parkland, Florida community after the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Deb is also a Volunteer for Kula for Karma, and is now Directing the Trauma & Addiction Trainings for the Kula community.
