Christina Iribarne

Cristina is a volunteer for Kula for Karma. She teachers at the John Theuer Cancer Center at Hackensack Hospital and at the Debra Simon Center for Integrative Behavioral Health and Wellness in Maywood, NJ as a teacher for children/teens ages 8-14. 

Cristina is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with additional certifications in Restorative Yoga, Advanced Training in Mental Health, Trauma, and Addiction through Kula for Karma, Children’s Yoga, and Yoga for Children for Special Needs. She has taught general education, special education and is currently an elementary school reading specialist.  Cristina enjoys incorporating yoga and mindfulness with teaching reading and writing at her school. She also works with her mother to use yoga and mindfulness as a healing tool for teens at Grief Yoga Camp as well as Chair Yoga for adults who are grieving. Cristina is a Reiki practitioner. 

FACT: Cristina loves spending time at the Jersey shore enjoying the beach vibes with her family and her dog, Francisco, and practicing yoga.
