Charlotte Chandler Stone, E-RYT500, CYT, has been immersed in the study, practice and teaching of yoga and meditation for over forty years. The Director of the Stone Center for Yoga & Health in Teaneck, NJ, and the Director of Integrative Yoga Therapeutics for Kula for Karma, she holds numerous advanced certifications in yoga therapy and meditation. Charlotte is a long-standing member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, where she maintains an ongoing dialogue with the thought leaders at the forefront of the burgeoning field of yoga therapeutics. Her trainings are accredited at the basic and advanced levels with the national Yoga Alliance. Charlotte works in an integrative manner with the allopathic community, melding the ancient wisdom teachings of yoga with contemporary approaches to health and wellness. Profoundly touched on a personal level by yoga and meditation’s capacity to help and heal, she has seen countless clients benefit from yoga, meditation and guided imagery; she regards her clients as her most profound -- and honest ! -- teachers. Charlotte has seen time and again how gentle, mindful movement, meditation, guided imagery, breath work, and relaxation, can help those with life challenges become more stress-hardy, and manage better, and feel better.
