On Tuesday, June 7th, we joined forces with Embody Love Movement to present “Yoga Summer Flow for a Cause” at Highline Stages in New York. It was an incredible evening full of yoga, music, and community!
80 of our community members were in attendance as we practiced alongside four incredible yogis – Erica Mather, John Murray, Nikki Myers, and Anastasia Nevin – to the tune of Trevor Exter on the cello. Before the class started, we enjoyed live music by Jazz Trio “Tuesdays at Seven,” featuring Francois Giliberti on bass, Rick Crane on guitar and Bob Hanlon on sax and flute.
Leading up to the event, we asked those who planned to attend to raise $50 on Crowdrise, or donate that amount to someone else’s fundraiser in support of both Kula and Embody Love Movement’s programming. We also offered tank tops and bracelets for purchase. We’re thrilled to share that because of your generous support, we were able to raise $7,979.25 for our programs!
Our amazing sponsors took the event to the next level by providing snacks, space, and other kinds of support. So much gratitude to:
