Yoga Flow for a Cause: Making a Difference Through Yoga

We’re so excited to share that on Tuesday, June 7th,  we’re coming together with Embody Love Movement for Yoga Flow for a Cause at Highline Stages in New York City!

Yoga Flow for a Cause - Kula for Karma

What is Yoga Flow for a Cause?

It’s a collaborative event between two non-profits– Kula and Embody Love Movement – that will bring our inspiring communities together to practice yoga and fundraise to expand the programming that supports the populations we serve.

We’re thrilled to partner with Embody Love Movement, an organization that uses yoga and other therapeutic tools to empower girls and women to value their inner beauty, commit to kindness, and believe in their purpose. Embody Love Movement was created by a few young women who found a passion for inspiring and empowering other girls and women to recognize their value and potential – a vision that we fully support. You can learn more about their inspiring work here.

Four incredible yogis will lead us in our practice throughout the evening – Erica Mather, John Murray, Nikki Myers, and Anastasia Nevin – all to the soothing sound of cellist Trevor Exter. Before and after each class, we’ll also enjoy live music from jazz trio Tuesdays at Seven, featuring Francois Giliberti on bass, Rick Crane on guitar and Bob Hanlon on sax and flute.

For those interested in joining us, we ask that you raise a minimum of $50 on Crowdrise in advance of the event (click here to sign up). If you'd prefer to purchase a ticket rather than fundraise, you can do so here.

In response to requests from the community, we’re also selling tank tops and bracelets in support of both organizations in advance of the event. You can purchase yours here.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors – Highline Stages, Yogasmoga, and Aurorae Yoga – we wouldn’t be able to make this event happen without your support!
