What is Integrative Health? Who does it benefit? How and why does it work?
We’re excited to share that we’ll be hosting an ‘Ask the Expert’ panel on integrative health on June 8th at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ. We’d love for you to join us!
Integrative medicine combines the practice of conventional, Western medicine with alternative, complementary therapies. It employs a personalized style of care, and “addresses the full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences that affect a person’s health.”
Those who practice integrative medicine often encourage yoga as a way of supporting physical and mental health and healing. This holistic, mind-body approach to wellness is the basis for Kula’s programming, and we’re excited to see it gain traction in the medical field.
An ever-increasing number of people are learning about the myriad benefits of taking an integrative approach to health and medicine, and as such, the practice continues to grow in care settings across the United States. To help keep our community informed, we’re hosting top experts in the field for a panel event.
