Thanks to a generous grant from the Fred J. Brotherton Charitable Foundation, Kula for Karma has been able to fund a therapeutic yoga, breath work, and stress management program for cancer patients at Englewood Hospital. October marks 1 year since we launched our first class, and we are thrilled to say that it is a great success! Englewood Hospital empowers patients to become active participants in their health and wellbeing by providing education and therapies that promote healing for the mind, body and spirit.
This October, our yoga classes will be offered at the new Graf Center for Integrative Medicine at Englewood Hospital. This beautiful designed space is infused with Zen-inspired design elements for the ultimate wellness experience. The center will also include other integrative health therapies including Reiki, nutritional counseling, wellness coaching, and more.
