Yoga engages each individual on a journey of self-exploration
and reflection. Most clients arrive at the classes
broken-hearted, exhausted, and overwhelmed by the challenges
they face everyday. The program, focusing of the
instruction of posture, breath, meditation, and relaxation,
encourages an awareness of one's physical body
and inner self, the development of healthy coping
strategies,
and increases their ability to handle stress in a new and
positive way. Clients report they're learning to master
the movement their bodies, having stillness in their minds,
and feeling relaxed, at ease, and experience a resurgence
of positive energy.
Our instructors are specially-trained through a unique, innovative Teacher Training Module especially designed for Kula for Karma by Geri Topfer and Penni Feiner, which equips them to work in challenging environment and address the specific needs of the populations they are working with. Instructors are also required to complete training in an accredited Teacher Training program and must possess a current certificate of liability insurance.
Kula
for Karma is unique in its ability to address
the needs of our inner brokenness. Combining the practice
of yoga with modern therapeutic and nutritional treatments,
we are able to offer our clients a permanent, life-changing
experience.
